Srbský umelec Nikola Tamidzic je talentovaný fotograf, ktorý momentálne žije a býva v New Yorku. Vystriedal miesta v mnohých módnych firmách, kde pracoval ako fotograf, no táto práca ho zjavne nenapĺňala. Preto sa začal venovať aj vlastným projektom a jeden z nich vám dnes predstavujeme.
Tento projekt má názov F * cking New York , čo s jemnou jazykovou korekciou môžeme preložiť ako Milovanie sa s New Yorkom. A o to Nikolovi aj išlo. Chcel zachytiť vzťah medzi obyvateľmi New Yorku a ich mestom. Jeho zábery sú tak plné intimity a situácií, ktoré niekto môže vnímať ako vulgárne. A tak sa aj ľudia k jeho projektu stavia. Niektorí ho obdivujú, iní ho zatracujú.

Friends, meet @akamandak: Amanda participated in #FUCKINGNEWYORK while undergoing chemotherapy for her advanced lymphoma. In this outtake from the book, Amanda is on the right as she was before therapy started, and on the left as she was in the middle of her battle against cancer. Seeing her bring such enthusiasm, energy and pure JOY of being alive was nothing short of inspiring — I am still in absolute awe of her bravery and spirit. And now a whole new project sprang from this photo — a body of work celebrating life in the face of possible death, featuring people in the middle of the struggle against cancer as well as cancer survivors.
